That Utah Jazz take their way to the Fiserv Forum in beautiful Wisconsin to provide tip-off courage Milwaukee Bucks in an inter-conference showdown Sunday night. The Jazz have come out hot to start the year, having won their first four matches and sitting at the top of the Western Conference. The Bucks open this game as one-point home favorites.

Jazz Hot Start with Mitchell struggling

Mitchell got off to a slow start last season, making just 34.1% of his field-goal attempts in his first four games. That has also been the case this season, with Mitchell shooting 38.7% from the pitch and 30.3% from deep in three games played. That being said, he is still one of the leading scorers in the league and will definitely make it run like he did a season ago. Mitchell is a career shooter at 43.8%, so it’s safe to expect him to get things turned around in time. The biggest concern for Mitchell is the tunover number, as he has been careless with the ball in the early innings.

Rudy Gobert shot 7-of-8 from the field and 9-of-16 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 122-110 victory over the Nuggets, with 23 points, 16 rebounds and a 33-minute block. He has, on average, a huge one. It’s performances like this that will definitely give the big man a rebound title this season. As Mitchell has so far struggled with his shot, Gobert has answered the call with a dominant presence inside the paint.

Giannis started with a burning start

Giannis Antetokounmpo has continued his fierce pace after lifting the NBA title last season. The Greek legend has averaged 27.6 points, 11 rebounds and an impressive 6.6 dimes so far this season. He had a phenomenal game against the T-Wolves with 40 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and three triples two days ago. This is the fourth time that Antetokounmpo has recorded at least 40 points, 15 boards and five assists in a game, giving him a match with Larry Bird for the second most such games – Russell Westbrook has the most with five.

Giannis said recently that he has struggled with the adjustment to center with Brook Lopez out and Bobby Portis has just returned, but that has not affected him much on the statistics sheet. If he is consistently able to make his outside shots, the big man will be virtually unprotected. He will be in the most valuable player race at the end of the season if he is able to stay healthy.
